In 1989 Clive Newman created LaSalle Trim. After owning Land Rovers for 20 years, and living with constant problems of condensation, cold and noise. Clive decided to tackle the problem. The criteria being, to manufacture a range of interior trim that was stylish and would last in excess of 25 years. LaSalle Trim set about the task of designing trim that would never need replacing and would be simple to fit.
Headlinings were designed with added built in features of radio and speaker housings, enabling a decent audio set up, and also to allow for the fitting of sunroofs.
Door trims also contain speaker housing.
Side Trims which cover the complete side and rear interior, allow for the fitting of any type of window, in any location.
Our range of trim and options are larger than that of even Land Rover themselves, and will outlast many alternative trim on offer. Our original aim was to enable Land Rover owners not to have to put up with condensation, cold and noise, and to create a feeling of comfort, we feel that we have succeeded in doing just that.
Due to Cliveʼs retirement in 2010, Andrew Lloyd is now carrying on where Clive left off, producing handmade quality LaSalle Trim interior products for Land Rovers. Andrew has many new design and concept ideaʼs, planned for the very near future. Being a Land Rover enthusiast himself, Andrew understands the needs and wants of fellow Land Rover enthusiasts, and aims to please!
